Emma’s Little Corner — Blending Crochet and Coaching

It’s been a while since I last posted here—life with a little one has a way of pulling you in a hundred directions at once. And honestly? I needed that time to step back, regroup, and really think about what I wanted Emma’s Little Corner to be.

When I first started ELC, it wasn’t just about crochet blankets or handmade gifts. At the heart of it was something bigger. I wanted this space to be a blend of two things that mean the world to me:

• Fertility coaching → helping women who are trying to conceive feel supported, prepared, and empowered.

• Handmade creations → little reminders of comfort and nurture for women, babies, and families.

🌱 Why Fertility Coaching?

Because I’ve lived it. I know the ups and downs of TTC, the endless Googling, the questions that keep you up at night. I also know what it feels like to walk through IVF—the hope, the heartbreak, and the enormous physical, emotional, and financial investment it takes.

And I don’t want other women to feel like they’re walking that road alone. My hope is to help women prepare their bodies and minds so that they:
✨ Have the best possible chance at conceiving naturally.
✨ And if IVF does become part of their story, they go in stronger, calmer, and more confident.

🧶 Where Handmade Fits In

So where do the crochet blankets and loveys come in? For me, creating by hand has always been about more than the finished product. It’s about the patience, love, and care poured into every stitch.

In a way, it mirrors the fertility journey itself—you can’t rush it, you just take it step by step. Handmade pieces become keepsakes, reminders of the season you’re in, and tangible symbols of hope.

That’s why I want ELC to be both: a place for support and guidance, and a place for comfort and beauty through handmade items.

Going forward, you can expect weekly posts here—sometimes practical fertility tips, sometimes reflections on motherhood, and sometimes updates on new handmade creations.
